Ive been missing Filipino Food lately and luckily when we went to the commisary to buy our grocery I saw a " Japanese eggplant" and Ampalaya at the vegetable section. I always see those big eggplant at the other grocery store but I didnt try to buy it because Im not sure if its like our eggplant back home.

Two day's ago I received a package of dried fish from a very good friend of mine that lives in Oregon. Thanks te Rubss mwahhh..

Mommy Moments - Name Game

It took me a while to figure out this post, this is my first time to join mommy moments so please bear with me.

It's Friday once again, and time for Mommy Moments hosted by Chris. This week mommy moments theme is "Name Game" suggested by Genebie. Here's the latest picture of Jaden Kiel and the story or meaning behind his name.



Jaden is the combination of my husband and my name at least that's what I believe :), Kiel comes from Ezekiel. I love reading Tagalog pocket books before especially by Martha Cecelia, one of her character that I fell in love with was named Kiel.
The name Jaden comes from the Hebrew origin. In Hebrew The meaning of the name Jaden is: Jehovah has heard. A Biblical name.
Ezekiel is: God strengthens. Biblical Ezekiel was a prophet among the captives taken to Babylon at the first fall of Jerusalem who wrote the Book of Ezekiel in captivity.

It was my decision to choose my son's name because my husband was not with me when I gave birth to my son, I also learn that Will Smith's son was named Jaden so I think its cool to have a name after a famous celebrity son. Besides, my son's name is so popular these day's.

On Our next baby which will be a boy again, it's hubby's time to choose the name, he want's the name Perry, from Disney Channel cartoon Phineas and Ferb.

Enrolling Jaden for pre school

We will enroll my son for a Part day pre school here on base but we have to wait until he is 3 years old which will be on November. There will be no waiting list for pre school and the classes are between 9:30-12:30 Monday to Friday. I'm so excited for Jaden at least he can go to school in a few months, I'll just have to prepare all the necessary requirements for the CDC, like his updated vaccines, paper works and many more. We also had to attend an orientation and be interviewed by the administrator of CDC. Their rate is based on the family income and the number of dependents in your household. I have a few months to teach my son how to behave properly, I just hope he wont get us in a lot of trouble.

Football Fan

My husband loves to watch football during his spare time, he thinks it’s the greatest game ever, he always explains to me how this game works since I do not know anything about it yet. Once he started talking about NFL he can go on and on forever, he is such a big fan of the game. He told me that the Baltimore Raven is one of the best team in the League; we might get to watch them play soon because we are just minutes away from Baltimore.
