Mommy Moments - Name Game

It took me a while to figure out this post, this is my first time to join mommy moments so please bear with me.

It's Friday once again, and time for Mommy Moments hosted by Chris. This week mommy moments theme is "Name Game" suggested by Genebie. Here's the latest picture of Jaden Kiel and the story or meaning behind his name.



Jaden is the combination of my husband and my name at least that's what I believe :), Kiel comes from Ezekiel. I love reading Tagalog pocket books before especially by Martha Cecelia, one of her character that I fell in love with was named Kiel.
The name Jaden comes from the Hebrew origin. In Hebrew The meaning of the name Jaden is: Jehovah has heard. A Biblical name.
Ezekiel is: God strengthens. Biblical Ezekiel was a prophet among the captives taken to Babylon at the first fall of Jerusalem who wrote the Book of Ezekiel in captivity.

It was my decision to choose my son's name because my husband was not with me when I gave birth to my son, I also learn that Will Smith's son was named Jaden so I think its cool to have a name after a famous celebrity son. Besides, my son's name is so popular these day's.

On Our next baby which will be a boy again, it's hubby's time to choose the name, he want's the name Perry, from Disney Channel cartoon Phineas and Ferb.

Enrolling Jaden for pre school

We will enroll my son for a Part day pre school here on base but we have to wait until he is 3 years old which will be on November. There will be no waiting list for pre school and the classes are between 9:30-12:30 Monday to Friday. I'm so excited for Jaden at least he can go to school in a few months, I'll just have to prepare all the necessary requirements for the CDC, like his updated vaccines, paper works and many more. We also had to attend an orientation and be interviewed by the administrator of CDC. Their rate is based on the family income and the number of dependents in your household. I have a few months to teach my son how to behave properly, I just hope he wont get us in a lot of trouble.

Football Fan

My husband loves to watch football during his spare time, he thinks it’s the greatest game ever, he always explains to me how this game works since I do not know anything about it yet. Once he started talking about NFL he can go on and on forever, he is such a big fan of the game. He told me that the Baltimore Raven is one of the best team in the League; we might get to watch them play soon because we are just minutes away from Baltimore. My mom's interview

On September 04, 2009 is my mom's interview appointment at the US embassy in Manila, she is applying for a tourist visa so she can come here and visit us if ever she is approved. I'm really nervous and excited at the same time for her, its hard to get a tourist visa in the States but I'm hoping the Consul will grant her a visa.
Jaden really missed her Mamila, my mom took care of him when he was a baby.

36 weeks pregnant

Im really confused now because my ultrasound in Pinas says that my due date is Sept. 24 then here its Sept. 10, hmmm I dont know I dont really like their services in here, even though they have all this High tech equipment, Laboratories , good looking Doctors and nurses. Im not comfortable with them I know everything is covered with our insurance, If ever I'll have a CS or anything, we haven't spent a dime since I got here every time I had to go to my Pre-natal check up. Weird but Id rather go back to my OB in CDO which is Dra. Rose Salta, its different here they have OB-nurse, OB practitioner and OB-midwife, My Primary Care Giver btw is a Lieutenant. Every time I had all my Laboratories done they wont even give me any copy of the results unlike in Pinas, they said that its all in computer and I dont have to worry about anything. ya right!
OH well I cant really do anything but complain to my husband how everything here sucks.. LOL

LOVE ME AGAIN

Its been two days now since I started watching tagalog movies on youtube, Im so kilig while watching love me again with Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin. I miss the scenery of Bukidnon, the pineapple and everything, before I actually came here last April we went to Kaamulan festival 2009 and stayed with my aunt's house in Malaybalay. I miss being back home, I miss my mum, my sister and Papa I hope they are doing ok there, I havent talk to them in a few days because their internet connection has problems or whatever. I was entertained for a while with this movie.

The smell

Im not really into perfume because I sneeze a lot when I use it so i just use cologne or any not so strong scent. Since I got pregnant with my second baby im too picky with choosing a scent so I ended up buying some bath and body works perfume that smells good for me. why am i blogging a lot lately?

why? because i only have 4 bucks left on my paypal thanks to ebay, LOL.. when I was in Pinas i used to blog once in a while and grab opps as much as i can, I had about $180 on paypal when I came here last April. Ebay can be addicting sometimes, I used to buy stuff from ebay.ph and multiply.com using GCASH if I see something nice.
Oh well most of the items I bought is for my baby, his nursery room is not yet done so Im buying thing's one at a time. If only Im having a girl then i wont be buying clothes for the baby because my SIL told me that she will send all of Davan's clothes if it was a girl, but we are having a boy again so im going to start from scratch again and buy stuff for our lil man.

Jaden

Here are some of the latest picture of my son. He keeps kissing my big tummy and saying baby, I think he understand that he is going to be a kuya real soon. Ive noticed some improvement on him lately, he knows how to sing the ABC and can count up to 10, then he speaks more in English now like he always ask me " what are you doing mommy" and "stop it".
The biggest achievement so far is that he's been potty trained for the last 3-4 weeks, he only uses a diaper when he goes to sleep at night, he pee and poop on he's potty all the time now.

Im 34 weeks pregnant

Im almost 4 weeks to go, the baby is kicking so hard once its active usually at night, so far so good.
Yesterday Emi and Peter came over to the house while we were waiting for the free back back that was given by USO which is just across the house. The kids went upstair to play and we just had so much fun hanging out together, Emi also like my chocolate cake and ask me on how to make lumpia.

our nieghborhood center

This is one of the advantage living on post, we get to visit and enjoy our neighborhood center, It has a gym, a Wii cafe for young adults, a place for toddlers to play and a huge swimming pool.
