Im back

PEOPLE"S PARK

I really enjoyed our family reunion in San franz and trip to davao, We visited a lot of tourist spot in davao, Ive taken so many pictures even though my son doesn't like posing for me. We also went to samal island, it was jaden's first ferry boat ride at first he was a little scared but eventually he's enjoying the ride. On our way home we were stranded for about an hour in bukidnon because of an accident, oh don't worry nobody was hurt a big truck full of charcoal stumbled and blocked the road that's why our bus can't pass, thank god we made it home after that long wait.

Madonna Decena

Here is the latest buzz, we have another talented Filipina in Youtube her name is Madonna Decena she joined Britain's got talent its like the American idol in the states and she's been in the news here in the Philippines, her performance is so moving that she got a standing ovation from the audience, one of the judges cried and all of them said YES. Im not sure why Simon Cowell is also in that show, oh yeah he's british.. duh!!!
I can relate to her story as a mother, not as a singer because I cant sing hehehe..
well apparently she left her kids to work in UK, she's a single mother with two kids.
I hope she can fulfill her dreams and be successful in every endeavor she takes.

GO GIRL, MAKE US ALL PROUD!!!

black out

Jason, Aila & me

Jaden & Aila

We have a 12 hours black out today from 6 AM and the power restored at around 6 PM, we attended a mass at the atrium in Limketkai mall, even while inside the mall it was still hot the air condition is not so cold and the mall was so crowded because its Sunday family day. I see a lot of familiar faces there, Cagayan de oro is a small city, then Leila saw me sitting in the benches there with Aila and mitch.
We headed to chowking, while waiting for our food Jaden and Aila went outside to play, Jaden was running around looking at things and the people passing by him and Aila was basically following him where ever he goes for about 10 minutes, and Aila is waving at us as if she is trying to tell us something, so I hurriedly went outside to go get them, Aila suddenly cried she told me that Jaden wont listen to her, so Leila her mom explained that Jaden is only a kid and cant obey her.
It was very cute to see Aila crying because my son is so stubborn and wont listen to her, my heart goes out to Aila, she is such a sweet kid even my husband likes her coz she's so smart and is very good in English at her age, they got along very well while Jason was here.

Military spouse appreciation day

I never knew about this until today when i read it in a military spouse forum in LYC.
I'm glad they have a special day for military spouses, we stand behind our soldier no matter what, I'm PROUD of my man, even though we don't get to see each other i know deep in his heart that he loves me and Jaden, He said if he had a choice then he would rather be with us but he had commitment to serve his country.
oh my I'm getting emotional again! ok im done for now.. :)

P.S plz read this artice below:

America's military has realized and acknowledged the significance of the military spouse. In 1984 President Reagan proclaimed the Friday before Mother's Day of each year to be Military Spouse Appreciation Day. It is your day to stand up and be honored.
For the times you've stood and watched a ship sail from the harbor, an aircraft disappear into the clouds, or a truck convoy pull out of sight, not sure when they would return, we thank you.

For the countless household moves you've made from a place you know to one that's strange and different -- often by yourself -- we thank you.

For the families you've held together, for the anniversaries, birthdays, and holidays you've celebrated alone, we thank you.

For the hand you've extended to another military spouse when the need was there, truly creating a military family, we thank you.

For the spirit and strength you've shown when your service member has gone into harm's way, we thank you.

For the pride you've displayed while serving as an ambassador of the military spouse to the rest of the world, we thank you.

Far too frequently, the sacrifices and dedication of the military spouse have gone unnoticed and unappreciated. In our nation's recent history, thousands of service members have been placed in harm's way as they stood watch as freedom's guardian. You too have stood watch at home, facing challenges alone. You have waved flags and held banners high to express your support. You have kept the candles burning on the home front as a reminder of our deployed military.

You have made difficult sacrifices of your own, and have called upon your inner reserves to nurture family life so your service member can focus on the business at hand.

Even in times of relaxed alert status for our military, you have stood ready and alert for the slightest of signs, perhaps overlooked or ignored by your civilian counterparts, signaling a potential change in the status of our military forces. As a military spouse, you have willingly packed up and relocated countless times, and may have been separated from your own parents and siblings for several years at a time.

Quite often, you have been placed in an unfamiliar ethnic or cultural setting, or a remote location. You have met this challenge with confidence and pride, making your nation proud of you. By the same token, you have extended your hand and hospitality to visitors to our country.

A country cannot count itself strong by its armed services alone, but must also depend on its civilians. With military wives and husbands setting a superior example through devotion, courage, and commitment, we are a nation of strength.

Military spouses … stand tall, stand proud … we salute you, you are truly our unsung heroes.

stuff

my husband asked me last night if I could buy him some stuff and shipped it to Iraq, because he doesn't have any civilian clothes when he will come here in a few months for his R&R, they told him not to bring anything on his trip that will indicate that he is in the military, oh well whatever I'm really excited and I have a list on what he needs, looks like I'm going to go on shopping for his stuff which will be fun.
He has some minor request like he can wear anything as long as it's not Pink, ..:)
he's not really into fancy clothes, he is (baduy) and doesnt care if what people thinks about him, he likes wearing comfortabe clothes like jeanns, t-shirt, shorts and his adidas slipper.

Thanks Smorty

Good news from smorty, I have submitted my blog before but they declined it and today I received an email from them that they approved my blog, I'm excited and happy at the same time because I can get paid through my blog.
In Smorty you can get paid for blogging you can write your opinions on certain products, while advertisers can get reviews from bloggers all over the world and they can advetise on blogs too, how cool is that. I personally want to earn my own money and get paid for blogging its very cool and convenient especially that I'm a stay at home mommy, why don't you start your own blog now, join Smorty and earn while enjoying writing blogs.
At first I'm hesitant to start blogging because I'm not very good in writing, then I got curious because some of my friends are talking about how addicting blogging can be plus you can get paid for blogging so now I'm hooked to this new hobby of mine. I would like to thank my friends who encourage and taught me how to start my own blog.

Sexy

You Are Boyish Sexy

You're the kind of girl who gets along with all the boys

Whether it's holding your own in a game of touch football...

Or kicking some major butt while playing Xbox.

You hang with the guys easily, while still keeping your girly sexiness.

I didn't know I am boyish or something until answering What kind of sexy girl are you.

I grabbed this tag from Mae, all of my friends who wants try can grab this too.

UNFAIR

I just found out today about this when i read a newsletter from my FRG, President Bush just announced his decision to return to a 12 month deployments for all active Army Units but this does not apply to those soldiers deploying prior to August 1, 2008; those units will complete their scheduled 15 month deployment, that includes my husband and his unit. well lucky them and sorry for us, those additional 3 months is another torture for the family of those deployed Army soldiers.
It is very unfair for us, Marines only has 7 months deployment as well as the Navy.
Army families are more stressful than any other.
I hope and pray that time flies and my husband can come home safe.

Jon Avila

This is a memorable day for me, we went to SM mall with my mum, sister and jaden. Its A 3 day sale, I just bought jaden some toys and clothes, then we went to KFC to have our snack at 4:30 pm, when we were almost done eating we heard someone is singing and girls were yelling at the second floor, then I remember that Jon Avila will be at the event center at 5pm because I saw it from the poster outside the mall. I told my sis that we should go and watch him, we ran going to the second floor and im surprised that there were only few people in the crowd, so we had the just to get up close and personal with him, we are a few feet away from jon, I could almost touch him if I wanted to. Ive never been close like that with a celebrity before.
I was shouting jon, jon and waving at him when he look at our way. Me and my sister were giggling and so starstruck by him.
then when he started giving away his pictures, i stepped closer to the stage, I coudnt believe that he hand me his picture first, thats why i had that close up pic above... I feel so lucky and very happy.
I also had the chance to have his autograph and our pictures taken together.
I will never forget his greenish gray eyes, his voice and he looks exactly the same on the tv,
He was very nice, humble and smiles at everyone.
he never got tired of signing those autograph, I can feel that he is really happy with his job.
Im going to be a fan of Jon Avila from now on.

JON you made my day even brighter!!!!!!
