Driving lesson
I decided to enroll on a 10 hour driving lesson while im still here and today I finished it with flying colors,, LOL heheheh conceited, my instructor said that I was good already...
I know driving here and in the States is very different, hubby told me to learn how to drive manual and then the automatic cars, so that's what I did. I learn how to drive a manual car then during the last 2 hours of the course I was driving an automatic car. I already got an SP(student permit) then next month I will apply for a drivers license..
I wanted to learn so I could go to places when im there and I can also find work or something, im not gonna wait for my hubby to come home and drive me around.. yeah but I need to pass a driving test also before I can drive over there..

ilasik information
I was very excited upon hearing about this iLASIK technology not only because my husband is in the Military its also the fact that he is having some problems with his eyes. He doesn't have a 20/20 vision and have to wear eye glasses when reading a book or magazine. He get's headaches from time to time, so maybe I will talk to him about LASIK technology so that he will understand more about iLASIK procedure. I will also asked him if this kind of surgery is covered by our insurance.
For five years NASA and the U.S. Military have increased personnel performance on critical missions using laser vision correction technologies that civilians have benefited as well. The Department of Defense (DOD) has been working hand in hand with NASA to improve the vision of specialized personnel facing extreme, physically demanding conditions. According to Steven Schallhorn, M.D., today’s LASIK exceeds all established standards of safety and effectiveness, He is also the leader of clinical research done for the DOD regarding the use of LASIK.
A 100% of naval aviators having undergone the procedure would recommend the surgery to other naval aviators. During the military evaluation 95% of personnel who went through iLASIK has achieved 20/20 vision or better. This only means that ilasik is safe and very effective.
Here are some added LASIK information that will be useful to those who are in need or planning to have iLASIK procedure to improve their vision.

friends
A good friend is someone we can count on, as well as being so much more.
A friend is someone with whom we can relax and just hang out, have fun and
share our innermost thoughts--deep dark secrets, lofty and noble goals, or
our hopes, joys, and fears. A good friend allows you a safe space to share
your deepest thoughts and needs--without worry of being judged, criticized
or made to feel silly for feeling the way you do. Friends cheer each other on,
laugh and cry together, and just plain commiserate and listen to each other.
That's why friends are friends.
I was upset this past few days because I feel betrayed by a so called friend.
This is the first time that ever happen to me or experience something like this so that's why this is a big deal to me..

Change of plan
Hubby can come here after Christmas day and is going to stay for 30 days..
What frustrates me is that airline tickets during holiday season is way way higher than off peak season, now I think my dream wedding will still be a dream :( :( :(..
I hate the ARMY sometimes they always ruin my plan and everything
oh well maybe the dates will change again, who knows inside the aparador...

OUR NOA1
My husband told me last night that we have our NOA1, its been more than a month since we submitted our I-130, he told me that he has been calling the military helpline for 2 hours coz the line is always busy but thankfully after talking to three different people a guy finally told him our NOA1, they would also be mailing something to my MIL's address in SC.
We also contacted a Senator from SC and we have been corresponding with a certain representative of Senator DeMINT, the last thing she told us is this:
I am still working with the National Visa Center on your wife's case. I
should hear information back from them on her current status within a
week and I will let you know as soon as I do. Thank you for your
continued patience and understanding.
If you are in the military and dealing with Immigration then you can call the helpline..
USCIS LAUNCHES TOLL-FREE MILITARY HELP LINE
1-877-CIS-4MIL Available to Help Military and Families with Immigration Questions
WASHINGTON – Members of the U.S. military and their families stationed around the world are now able to call U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for help with immigration services and benefits using a dedicated, toll-free telephone help line, 1-877-CIS-4MIL (1-877-247-4645).
“Thousands of immigrant Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines have made extraordinary sacrifices for America,” said USCIS Director Emilio Gonzalez. “As such, at USCIS, we are committed to exhausting every effort to ensure that the application process for immigrant service members is convenient, quick and secure. These brave men and women, and their families, deserve this service, and we are proud to assist.”
“This hotline honors the more than 40,000 non-U.S. citizens serving in the military today. If you are willing to fight and die for America, you should be able to become an American,” said Senator Barbara Mikulski. “I will continue to work to improve this process, because service members and their families have enough to worry about.”
USCIS customer service center specialists are available to assist callers Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (CST). Callers will receive assistance with:
• Tracking their application for naturalization (Form N-400);
• Notifying USCIS of a new mailing address or duty station;
• Checking the status of an application or petition;
• Bringing a spouse, fiancé(e) or adopted child to the United States;
• Obtaining posthumous citizenship for a deceased member of the Armed Services; and
• Submitting an application for expedited processing.
Service members and their families stationed in the United States or overseas may access the help line using the toll-free number, through their base telephone operator or using the Defense Switched Network (DSN). After hours callers will receive an e-mail address that they can use to contact USCIS for assistance. Operators will ask members of the general public to call our main customer service line: 1-800-375-5283.
USCIS is working with the Department of Defense to ensure the military community has accurate and up-to-date information about immigration services and benefits. USCIS offices and the designated point-of-contact at each military installation will receive information about the Military Help Line and other immigration-related information and resources geared specifically for the military and their families.
In addition to the help line, USCIS has developed a web page, http://www.uscis.gov/military that contains information and links to services specifically for the military and their families.

IR1 Petition
Last September 8 we submitted my Immediate Relative petition through PHILPOST (EMS) , Chicago lockbox received our papers on September 16. My husband will be returning from his deployment early next year, I hope I can get my VISA by that time. I have been waiting for this moment to come, my husband did submit a previous petition in 2006 when I was still pregnant but I told him not to continue it because I know that he will be deployed soon and I want to gave birth here.
Right now I'm just waiting for our NOA1, we are going to EXPEDITE our case because of my husbands deployment, Im hoping that they will grant our request and also Ive asked hubby to contact a Senator and they responded already.
Jaden's US passport will be here anytime now.
If you are a military spouse dealing with Immigration process now you can call the USCIS MILITARY HELPLINE.

WORRIED
I'm so restless this past few days, Jason's roommate left a message on my YM that he will be gone for a 5 days mission somewhere..
This is the longest time that we haven't had any communication ever, before whenever he is gone he always find ways to tell me that he is OK and safe..
I talked to his roommate last night he said that he should be back tomorrow, well i hope so because im so worried and I miss my husband so much.
I havent been online because I had to take my CPU to a shop so they can fix it, they had to reformat my computer. Its working perfectly now... :)

hay anyways im going to post some of our pictures in Bohol and Manila.
R&R is over
the day he has to leave
there goes my happiness... :(
Hello world, hay we missed him already... the first few days of him leaving is always the hardest part... Jaden keep running to our room and looking for his dad, he keep waking up in the middle of the night in the past 3 days, my mum said that he might be missing his dad.
Time fly so fast when your having a good time, the night before he left we were crying on each others arm, we always do that because I dont want to cry when we have to go to the airport crying like a baby, his flight was 5:10 PM and we arrived in NAIA at like 4:20 PM because he doesnt want to go early at the airport, he wanted to spend more time with us. then he told me while he was in Kuwait the he almost missed his flight and the counter was already closed.
All I do now is listen to sappy song's, Im bluer than blue
